How It Works

  • Air containing bioaerosols enters the ionization chamber (virus, bacteria, fungi, allergen particles)

  • Emitter rod releases electrons

  • Air flows around emitter rod and bioaerosols attach to the electrons

  • Electrons and bioaerosols are attracted to the positively-charged collector, which is the inner wall of the chamber

  • Wearer breathes in clean air

On the exhale, if the wearer is infected, the device protects others because the exhaled breath travels through the same chamber and is cleaned on the way out.
